Recordings live only on your device. They are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them, so re-record after a new install.
On some devices Oramus falls back to the built-in system voice. Installing a higher-quality voice helps: Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → English → download an Enhanced or Premium voice.
Check the silent switch on the side of your iPhone and the volume. In the prayer's ☰ settings, make sure "Spoken prayers" is on.
Not yet — in this version you record together on one phone (pass the phone to a loved one). Sending a recording link across the miles is coming in a future update.
Never. The guide voice is a generic narrator. Oramus never imitates or recreates the voice of any real person — real voices in Oramus are only ever recordings people consciously make themselves.
